Introducing Boost!
AHS is introducing a new and exciting program to assist in the learning of students as a result of Government funding. The program is called Boost, and the team cannot wait to work with students in years 7-12.

2020 was a tough year for us all as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. This was particularly so for our students and teachers who overcame many challenges associated with the remote learning phase of the school year.
The NSW Government and Department of Education have recognised this loss of learning with the announcement of a program that provides special funding.
This funding is to be used to identify and support students who would benefit from intensive learning opportunities, presented by specialist teachers and educators, to ensure we improve and maximise student learning outcomes.
We have called it the Boost Program and it will be running at AHS for identified mainstream students throughout the 2021 school year.
The program will allow small group tuition during and after school hours, focusing on literacy, numeracy and writing across a wide range of subject areas.
