Dear Parents, Carers and our school Community,
The health and wellbeing of students, staff and the wider school community are the highest priorities for Ambarvale High School.
Therefore, in the current situation with COVID 19 (coronavirus) the school has made the difficult decision to cancel all excursions, incursions, sporting events, assemblies and gatherings larger than a class until further notice.
This means all classes will continue to run as usual, and internal school events involving less than 30 students may continue.
This action is in line with the Australian Government recommendation that, in order to slow the spread of COVID-19, public gatherings should be avoided from today.
We understand the disappointment this may cause, and we share that disappointment, however we are confident our school community will understand and support these important measures.
Staff and students are advised to come to school if they are well.
If staff or students present to school unwell, they are likely to be asked to go home and see their doctor.
