Junior Leadership

Congratulations! Your child has been selected as part of the Junior Leadership Initiative. As part of this initiative your child will be participating in a number of events.

The first of these events is the GRIP Leadership Conference in Wollongong on 1 April 2021. The bus will be departing AHS promptly at 8:00am. The details have been outlined in the permission note that .you received. The students will be returning to school at 3:30pm.

Parents are responsible for their child's transport and safety prior to departure time at location and following return time at location.

As a precursor to this event students will attend a workshop at school. In this workshop they will look into what makes a good leader and will develop their own leadership philosophy.

We have been fortunate enough to secure the services of Dr David Williams who will be presenting on 7 Axioms of Leadership. Dr Williams is the CEO of Macarthur Workplace learning and an expert on promoting leadership in the corporate sector.

The workshops will be held at school on 25 March 2021 in the common room.
